During Cycle 1, I was able to follow about half of the goals I set for myself. As expected shadowing exercises (ちょっとむずかしいです) took me an inordinate amount of time, but it was helpful nonetheless. I've grown more confident of my double consonants and my long vowel pronunciations (やった！). As for my oral exam, I think I did a reasonable job. I was taken a little off guard at some times and resorted to impromptu dialogue and also failed to respond quickly enough to some prompting questions. But other than some misused particles, I think I did the best job I could do at the moment. I will keep trying to improve! はい！ミドタムがおわりました。
